Bands FC: Bands imagined as football club badges
GOT GOT NEED!
Bands FC is a brilliant collection of bands imagined as football clubs, complete with their very own fictional badges.
The collection of badges, which includes a number of Manchester bands, is the result of a collaboration between The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess, Nick Fraser, animator Chris Walker and designer Mark Liptrott.

The process takes the inspiration from the band’s original logo, and the badge of their local football team, resulting in a hybrid of both.
James, Oasis, The Smiths, The Stone Roses and Doves are all included in the collection, with New Order’s badge created by legendary Factory Records designer Peter Savile.
Savile’s design was based on the colour code adorned on the back of New Order’s second album, Power Corruption and Lies.
Manchester illustrator Stan Chow also got on board, designing badges for Blur, Queen and Meatloaf.
