The Fall frontman’s iconic sneering expression will be immortalised in a 20ft mural.
Smith passed away aged 60 in January this year after battling cancer.
The mural is being painted by graffiti artist AKSE P19 on the side of a chip shop on Clifton Road in his hometown of Prestwich.
