Three Lions reaches streaming high

Three Lions

Three Lions has broken it’s streaming record, with the World Cup anthem reaching it’s all time streaming high.

The Baddiel, Skinner and Lightning Seeds classic was streamed over 450,000 times on the day of England’s victory over Colombia.

The track, which was originally released ahead of the tournament in 1996, momentarily topped the Itunes download chart this week, whilst the 1998 version also made it into the Top 10!

Baddiel and Skinner shared a photo of them celebrating after England won the penalty shoot out on Tuesday.

It’s definitely coming home.
