Eddie Vedder Performs At Barack Obama's Farewell Address

The Pearl Jam Front Man Has Been A Strong Supporter Of Obama

Eddie Vedder, of Pearl Jam

Last night Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam performed a heartfelt set for outgoing President Obama at his farewell address in Chicago.

Meanwhile President Elect Donald Trump has been told by US security agencies that Russia might have a file of embarrassing information on him.

Vedder with the 24 piece Voice of Chicago Choir performed versions of Patti Smith’s “People Have The Power”, Neil Young’s “Rockin In The Free World” and Labi Siffre’s “Something Inside So Strong”

Eddie Vedder has been a strong supporter of Barack Obama throughout the President’s two terms in office, performing at his 2012 re-election fundraiser and visiting Obama on holiday in Hawaii.

Vedder said “The night he was elected, I wanted to go out and dance in the street. The next day, Seattle had a rare day without rain, the sky was clear.”
