Banjo November Rain

Finnish band Steve 'N' Seagulls release a cover of Guns N' Roses track November Rain

Think you've heard all the covers of the iconic track worth listening to? Think again. Steve 'N' Seagulls have owned November Rain.

The Finnish group are no strangers to classic rock, covering bands from Iron Maiden to AC/DC with a much softer country-take and it's like nothing we've ever heard before.

Speaking to Metal Assault, vocalist/guitarist and mandolin player Tomi 'Remmel' Tajakka talks of his influences and the unlikely cover choices by the band: "when I was younger in the 90s, I listened to a lot of Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Sepultura, all this kind of stuff. There must be a good song, a good riff or a good melody that you can start working around."

The Guns N' Roses renditio follows their covers of Iron Maiden tracks Aces High and The Trooper. They also released their own version ofAC/DC's Thunderstruck in 2014.
