The comedian, who recently confirmed the latest series of Car Share would be the last, will return to Manchester Arena to play four homecoming gigs next summer.
Kay, who has been off the stand-up stage for 8 years, announced the news on Twitter this morning.
The 26-date UK tour kicks off in Birmingham next April and finishes at Liverpool’s Echo Arena in March 2019.
The much loved funny-man’s last tour, ‘The Tour That Doesn’t Tour Tour…Now On Tour’, is still ranked as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time, which saw Kay play to over 1.2 million people.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Sunday, November 19 at 10am.
