National Football Museum’s - Pele: Art

The launch of The National Football Museum’s new exhibition Pele: Art, Life, Football is a Brazilian-themed party open to all as part of Manchester After Hours.
From 6pm on Thursday 18 May, see contemporary artwork inspired by an icon of world football. Pele's life and career is seen through the eyes of artists and photographers across the globe, with iconic items from the man himself adding to the story.
Drummers and dancers from Global Grooves will be bringing the carnival vibe to the Hall Of Fame, where the bar will be open for visitors from 6pm.Guitarist Jon Mambo will be playing on Level 3 of the museum, where the Pelé-inspired exhibition will be open to the public for the first time.
There’ll also be demonstrations of Afro-Brazilian martial art Capoeira, and the opportunity for visitors throughout the evening to contribute to a new artwork in celebration of Pelé.
To Celebrate, the XS Manchester Football Social will be held live from the venue between 6pm – 7pm on opening night!
